“I have been in the industry since 1994; aged 18 starting as a Lab Technician (on £2 per hr!) with a small family based company where I acquired the skills and qualifications to carry out all asbestos analysis, sampling and survey work.
As my next logical career step, I moved to a large national consultancy in 2002 and further developed my management level skillset. After 16yrs with these two UKAS accredited companies, I found myself with a great foundation and a great desire to build my own empire. I was also becoming disillusioned working for the larger companies and also frustrated with the industry standards which I felt were losing focus on quality and looking after customers.
So in 2010, I formed Omega with a burning ambition to simply be uniquely better – to attract good people, doing good things for good clients and we both mutually benefit from a great working relationship based on compliance, benefit and value.
Since 2010 the business has thrived and I have surrounded myself with amazing people; we all share the same passion which is to enjoy what we do and deliver a service that our clients deserve. Our client retention is superb with repeat work and referrals the norm.
Omega is my passion or as the wife refers to it, ‘my 3rd child’. Away from my Omega family, I have a wife and 2 daughters who I adore, I also love coffee, music, the gym and playing guitars”.
