“I started with Omega in April 2017 after spending the previous 13 years in the IT industry.

I knew some of the other guys who work at Omega and was always intrigued by their industry and their own career progression with Omega.

After an interview with Gary, I was confident that Omega was the employer for me and I embarked on a new career path.

My IT background served me well in my office role with customer service and to ensure asbestos reports are produced accurately and efficiently.

My initial role comprised office based report production and working with Lead Surveyors as a survey assistant. Both aspects allowed me to learn my new trade very efficiently, giving me a sound understanding of what makes a great survey report and then how to methodically survey a building. 

I was successful in achieving my P402 surveying qualification and I have since went gone on to achieve the analysts’ P403 & P404. 

My aim remains on being a consistent high-performer whilst continuing to learn and hone my skill set.  

The ultimate goal is to become a competent Project Manager / Senior Consultant who holds the CCP or CoCA status; I feel this is very achievable with the excellent training and support from the team here”.
