Regional Manager – Scotland

I began my asbestos career in 2006 when I worked on an MoD base run by QinetiQ, first dealing with admin and waste and moving onto asbestos; gaining my P405 in 2008.  I subsequently gained my P402, 403 and 404 and finally the W504.  My experience is extensive covering survey from residential to complex commercial / industrial premises and also contaminated land.  I have also project managed the removal of asbestos in many environments. I am always looking to improve and keep up with the asbestos industry through the HSE forums and other online publications.

I welcomed the opportunity to come on board with Omega where their business model suits my own desire to provide a true consultancy service; forging great relationships with clients, solving their problems well and providing a positive experience. At Omega I have found a home where I feel comfortable, having the backing of a great team and management to provide clients with a advice and options rather than the usual ‘here is your report’.

In my spare time I enjoy building, painting and playing with miniatures models, mainly at the local wargaming club but a few home games as well. I also go to the golf course, I go round with the bats but miss the ball a lot, still a good time after the nineteen holes. I play a few hands of No Limit Texas Holdem, competing in local tournaments and casinos. I do have a passion for Scottish and military history with a focus on the old 71st regiment and Napoleonic times. This leads to re-enactments and visiting historical sites
