I spent 20 years in the construction industry, starting with a small builder as a labourer doing small domestic extensions. I then worked for all the major house building companies as a groundworker both in the north east and Scotland.
In 2010 I re-located to Dunfermline, Scotland to be with my now wife Lesley. Lesley was a regional manager for an asbestos company and I started my asbestos life as a trainee surveyor. I gained my BOHS P402,P403, & P404 and have gained site experience in all aspects of surveying and analytical work. I have worked with a broad spectrum of clients from a management survey of a domestic property for local authorities to air monitoring projects of the first oil platform to be decommissioned on Shetland.
I first heard of Omega and the innovative ways in which they do business through my brother Anthony. After meeting Gary, I felt that Omega could offer me further development of my career.
In my spare time I like to chill out next to loch, fly fishing.
